Julia was born into a family of doctors in Russia , Moscow. She studied piano, gymnastics, ice-skating, and dancing. In addition, she is a born academic and devoted a lot of time studying. Her father always told her: “You can change your wardrobe and hairstyle in 30 mins, but it takes years to learn and master the skills.”

After finishing specialized high school, she studied at the University of International Relationships (MGIMO) with a major of International Economics ( Russia ). After studying for 2.5 years there, she transferred to the University of Minnesota where she got her BA degree with 3 majors: Russian Literature in Translation, Psychology, and Theatre.

Julia first appeared on “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” on TBS, in 2001.  Since then she began getting deeply involved in the entertainment business. After writing, producing, and acting in: “Chase”, “By the Ocean”, “Conspiracy”, “Cop’s wife”, “Revenge”, and “Movie Star”, Julia realized that film was exactly what she wanted to do. In college she majored in psychology and theatre.  This provided a terrific combo in helping her understand human behavior.  Starting as an actor, Julia realized her strength is actually in producing, and writing. But she also takes every opportunity in expressing herself as an actor.

After one of her films won at a the SoCal Film Festival, Julia felt confident that she could write, produce, and direct films that will hold audiences attention. She produced several documentaries: " Nutritious Life", " Bouncy Planet", and "A-Lister". "A-Lister" is the first major film of hers that involves the name of the megastar, the A-lister, George Clooney. 
 
Julia has slated several films for upcoming projects. The next project in-development is a documentary about the breathtaking journey of the victim of a Vegas based doctor that literally butchered the patient via terrible surgery gone wrong. This story is not "based on true story" - it is a true story of the real sufferings of fading away patient. The working title is: "Dr. D. - The Butcher". All the real names are to be revealed, so you can be the judge of gore story of real blood, torture, and near death experiences. 

Julia is working on another feature: horror film "The Morgue". She is thrilled to share the chilling events happened in  the Morgue one dark night..."
